TYPICAL PROJECTS:
We will not be building new homes.
- Shingle re-roof of 2 steep pitch 2 story homes where clients underinsured
- Multiple sites where the outside has been repaired but inside needs repairs including electrical, insulation, drywall, flooring repairs
- Multiple mobile homes that were “ racked” where home needs leveled, doors need to be re-set or replaced, underpinning and ground moisture barrier installed.
- One site where all 11 windows need to be replaced.
- One site where client is motorized wheelchair bound and the entire home particle board subfloor is failing - demo, improve/repair structure, replace with advantek & new lvl flooring.
- One congested mobile home site needing multiple inside/outside repairs.
- Multiple sites where we will have a skid steer with grappler bucket but will chainsaw and move debris to street for city/county pickup.
COST PER FAMILY:
COST WILL BE $150/person; max $150/family. Scholarships available. This charge covers food and some gratuity to housing sponsors. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION

The awesome Local Disaster Coordinators are working details on housing.
YOUTH UNDER 16 must be accompanied by a parent / adult approved by parents in notarized writing. Youth must be current in their schoolwork, and are welcomed to bring assignments and we will provide time in evenings for homework.
WE NEED A KITCHEN/CUSTODIAL TEAM LEADER & CREW and a TEAM NURSE. Please advise if you have a servant leader (s) to help in these areas.
KITCHEN NEEDS:

-50 lbs pre cooked bacon
- 20 lbs pre cooked ground sausage
- BBQ or Hamburger Meat welcome
- cakes, pies for evening meals
- snacks, chips, for packed lunches
- casseroles to serve 40
- 20 lbs lunch meat and cheeses
- 5 lb peanut butter
- jelly/apple butter
- 200 biscuits
- bottles water
- 10 lbs eight o’clock coffee
PLEASE DON’T SEND PANS YOU WANT RETURNED
ANY EXCESS FOOD IS GIVEN TO LOCAL HOMELESS SHELTERS

-LOVE OFFERING . Work Loving God carries no reserves and pours out what the Lord provides. What is provided for tornado recovery will be 100% applied to tornado recovery.

INDIVIDUAL TOOLS NEEDED- basic carpentry hand tools per person.( hammer, tape measure, square, pencil, razor knife, gloves) I will coordinate power tool needs with crew leaders closer to the mission. Work Loving God bringing a fully equipped mission truck and fully equipped tool trailer.
ROOFERS please bring ladders/jacks/boards/tarps for steep pitch
HOUSING:
We will be staying at a church, sleeping on the floor of gymnasiums, sunday school rooms… and using church showers and/ or local YMCA showers. Women will be housed separate from men. At this time I don’t expect we will have extra rooms to house a family together…
PERSONAL ITEMS - bring your own bedding, cots, air mattress, towels, toiletries, clothes PLEASE BRING SOLID TOE SHOES AND LONG PANTS FOR JOB SITES. NO Sandals and flip flops at work sites. Please dress respectfully .
BRING YOUR BIBLE… and musical instruments if you play and can help in worship. PASTORS, YOU ARE INVITED TO PREACH AN EVENING GATHERING- EVEN IF YOU CAN ONLY COME FOR THE SERVICE- PLEASE CONTACT PREACHEE TO SCHEDULE.
TRIP SCHEDULE
October 4 Preachee and a small crew will set up housing, kitchen facilities.
October 6 Team arrives, we’ll have a hot meal ready for you.
October 12 We leave the housing location better than we found it and head home
TYPICAL DAY:
5 am. Coffee ready
6 am Rise & Shine
6:30 Devotion & breakfast
7:00. Each Packs bagged lunches/coolers
7:30. Head to job sites
5:00. Return to housing site
6:00. Supper
7:30. Gather for praise/worship/camp meeting
10 pm. Crew leaders gather to plan next day.
